The Program

Training with Chris Madrid, CJF

Mission

Help individuals create an elite version of themself through craftsmanship.

Training sessions

Training sessions are designed around experience as a farrier, tool maker and competitor. Over the years, I have built my skills from a basic foundation, then moved to being efficient, while maintaining a high quality. My program includes strength training whether that be weight lifting, body weight or cardio. From there we go into basics of horseshoeing, forging and/or tool making. I can accommodate 1-4 clients  from 1-3 days at a time.  If the client or clients are interested in tool making they will leave with tools to continue making tools. Shop work will consist of the basics and a breakdown of an upcoming contest shoe list or tools. This also includes team work.  At the end of the day there will be a study portion. At this part of the session, the client will be required to do some reading, and/or watch videos. All revolving around what we are working on during our time together. This can relate to horseshoeing, blacksmithing, business, or mindset. All sessions will be oriented around your goals.  Mindset will consist of  preparation to follow through and compete at your highest potential.
